Beewise, Inc. has raised $50 million in Series D funding, bringing its total financing to nearly $170 million, announced in a press release. The investment, led by Fortissimo Capital, Insight Partners, and others, aims to accelerate the development and expansion of Beewise's AI-powered BeeHome technology.

The BeeHome is an innovative solution that uses AI and precision robotics to provide real-time autonomous treatment for bee colonies. This technology is designed to combat the decline in bee populations, which are crucial for pollinating a significant portion of the world's crops. Currently, 1,240 BeeHomes are operational, utilizing machine learning to monitor and maintain hive health.

The new funding will support Beewise's efforts to enhance its technology and expand its market presence. The company has already achieved significant milestones, including the deployment of thousands of AI-powered robotic beehives and the launch of the fourth generation BeeHome, which features advanced capabilities to protect bees from threats like Varroa mites without harmful chemicals.
