Nexxa.ai Secures $4.4M to Advance AI in Heavy Industries

Nexxa.ai has raised $4.4 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz to enhance AI solutions for industrial engineers.

Nexxa.ai has raised $4.4 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), as announced in a press release. The funding will support the development of specialized AI agents designed to integrate with existing industrial engineering software, enhancing operational efficiency without the need for system overhauls.

The investment round also saw participation from Augment Ventures, Propeller Ventures, and several other institutional and angel investors. Nexxa.ai, founded in May 2024, has already demonstrated significant growth, posting two consecutive quarters of 3x growth in booked annual contract value in 2025.

The company aims to use the new capital to expand its engineering resources and penetrate additional industries. Nexxa.ai's innovative approach has already attracted early adopters, including Fortune 100 companies, and has been recognized by a16z's Speedrun Badge 5, an elite accelerator for promising AI startups.
