E2B Secures $21M Series A to Expand AI Cloud Infrastructure
E2B has raised $21 million in a Series A funding round led by Insight Partners, announced in a press release. The funding will be used to expand E2B's cloud infrastructure offerings, enhance open-source interoperability, and scale its engineering and go-to-market teams globally.
E2B provides open-source cloud infrastructure specifically designed for AI agents, and its services are utilized by 88% of Fortune 100 companies. The company aims to offer secure and scalable sandboxes that allow AI agents to perform complex tasks efficiently. Notable clients include AI innovators such as Hugging Face, Perplexity, and Groq.
The investment will also support the development of E2B's open-source sandbox protocol as a universal standard and the creation of enterprise-grade modules like secrets vault and monitoring tools. E2B's CEO, Vasek Mlejnsky, emphasized the importance of equipping AI agents with infrastructure that supports their scaling and performance needs.
