Volca, an AI-powered marketing platform designed for home services businesses, has announced a $5.5 million seed funding round led by Pathlight Ventures, announced in a press release. The funding round also saw participation from MetaProp, GTMFund, Recall Capital, and several industry leaders.
Volca aims to transform front office operations in the home services sector by embedding AI into existing workflows. Their core product is an SMS-based referral system that uses AI to automate communication with homeowners, integrate with CRM systems like ServiceTitan, and facilitate secure payments for referral programs. This approach is designed to streamline operations and increase profitability for contractors.
The company has already generated significant revenue for its clients, with some businesses reporting up to $70,000 per month in new revenue attributed to Volca's platform. The funding will be used to accelerate product development and expand the team in New York City, focusing on engineering, product, and customer success roles.
