AfroTech Plans AI Training for One Million People

AfroTech plans to train one million people in AI skills through programs covering workplace readiness, agentic management, ethical AI, and civic impacts.

AfroTech has committed to train one million people in artificial intelligence skills, the organization announced in a press release. The initiative includes partnerships with Fortune 100 companies and is aimed at working professionals, entrepreneurs, creators, and community leaders.

The program will focus on workplace readiness, agentic management, ethical AI, and civic implications of AI systems used in hiring, housing, lending, health care, education, and public services. AfroTech said the effort will include virtual programming, live events, expert education, and community partnerships.

AfroTech said the training will support people applying AI in business operations, career planning, creative work, and community services. The organization plans to share details on program offerings, partnerships, curriculum, participation paths, and progress toward the one million person goal in the coming months.
