D-Robotics closed a $400 million Series C round to expand its Sunrise AI chip portfolio and robot development software, while Anthropic signed an agreement for capacity at the planned Zerra DC data centre in Queensland. The facility could support Claude inference from 2027, subject to required approvals.

TotalEnergies and Mistral will invest more than €100 million over three years in AI models for reservoir exploration and engineering. Elsewhere, Anthropic opened a Bay Area biology lab to study supervised use of Claude with laboratory robots, as governments and financial regulators consider new AI oversight frameworks.
Anthropic selects Accenture as embedded AI safety evaluator
Anthropic selects Accenture's Faculty AI business to independently evaluate and red team its models, with ongoing access to its safety procedures and research. Both companies plan to invest at least $1 billion over five years. Read more

The company plans to expand engineering, develop its silicon and systems roadmap, form partnerships, and prepare for commercial deployment, while former ASML CEO Peter Wennink becomes board chair.
