EUCLYD Raises More Than €200 Million for AI Inference Infrastructure

Eindhoven based EUCLYD raised a Series A of more than €200 million co led by Samsung, Somerset Capital Partners, EQT's Scaleup Europe Fund and Innovation Industries, and named former ASML chief executive Peter Wennink chairman.

EUCLYD raised more than €200 million in Series A funding, the company announced in a press release. The round was co led by Samsung, Somerset Capital Partners, the Scaleup Europe Fund managed by EQT, and Innovation Industries, with participation from EIFO, imec.xpand, Brabant Development Agency (BOM) and Quadri.

The Eindhoven, Netherlands, company is developing ultra efficient infrastructure for foundation AI models. Its platform combines custom compute, memory architecture, and data center systems to address power use, memory bandwidth, cost, and complexity in AI inference. Its roadmap includes craftwerk, which it describes as agentic AI silicon, and craftwerk station CWS, an AI factory designed for low power exascale performance.

EUCLYD will use the funding to expand its engineering organization, accelerate its silicon and systems roadmap, strengthen ecosystem partnerships, and prepare for commercial deployment in enterprise, sovereign and hyperscale AI markets. The company was founded by Bernardo Kastrup and Atul Sinha at High Tech Campus Eindhoven. Former ASML president and CEO Peter Wennink joined the company as chairman of the board.
