Zoomlion Tests Humanoid Robots at Beijing Games
Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd. entered its humanoid robots in the standing high jump, 100 meter sprint and standing long jump at the second World Humanoid Robot Games in Beijing, the company said in a press release. The events tested gait algorithms, joint response and stability under demanding motion conditions.
Zoomlion has also deployed dozens of humanoid robots across its factories. They handle material sorting, cable harness tying, component preparation, precision assembly, product inspection and factory patrols.
The bipedal Z01 uses AI imitation learning to organize objects and arrange and tie cable harnesses. The wheeled Z03 performs precision tasks including the preparation of mirrors for industrial equipment.
Zoomlion uses operational data from these deployments, more than 300 intelligent production lines and over 2,000 industrial robots to refine its models, algorithms and robot performance.
