Figure 03 Logs 348 Miles During Nine Days on Treadmill

Figure AI's Figure 03 humanoid robot logged 348 miles and 1.2 million steps during an extended treadmill test designed to expose hardware failures.

Figure AI's Figure 03 humanoid robot walked 348 miles and logged 1.2 million steps during nine consecutive days on a treadmill, according to Interesting Engineering. CEO Brett Adcock, who reported the milestone on X, said the test began as a side project to stress the robot and uncover potential failures.

A time lapse showed the robot walking inside a testing facility with a power cable attached. The available information does not specify whether one robot completed the full test without interruption or how its power needs were managed.

Figure introduced the third generation humanoid platform in October 2025. The company previously ran a package sorting test for about 200 hours, but multiple Figure 03 units rotated through that operation and recharged between shifts.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
