Symplr Acquires Smart Square from AMN Healthcare
Symplr has acquired the Smart Square scheduling software from AMN Healthcare, announced in a press release. This acquisition aims to strengthen Symplr's position in healthcare workforce and operations management by integrating AI-driven scheduling capabilities into its platform.
Smart Square, known for its predictive analytics and real-time staffing adjustments, will enhance Symplr's suite of workforce management solutions. The acquisition allows Symplr to offer a more comprehensive cloud-based SaaS solution for healthcare staffing, including features like open-shift management and nurse competency integration.
AMN Healthcare will focus on its Workwise platform, which includes workforce advisory, planning AI, staffing, and analytics solutions. The two companies have also entered into a commercial partnership to leverage their respective strengths in operational technology and healthcare workforce solutions.
