Stellantis, one of the world's leading automakers, has announced an expanded partnership with French AI firm Mistral AI. This collaboration aims to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) across various aspects of vehicle development and customer interaction. Over the past year, Stellantis and Mistral AI have worked on multiple AI-driven projects to enhance data analysis, manufacturing quality, and product satisfaction.

A key initiative under this partnership is the development of an AI-powered in-car assistant. This assistant will enable drivers to interact with their vehicles using natural language, providing real-time, conversational support for vehicle features, troubleshooting, and warning indicators. The assistant will be continuously updated and adaptable to various Stellantis brands and models.

Beyond the in-car assistant, Stellantis and Mistral AI are exploring several AI-driven initiatives. These include tools for data intelligence, feedback analysis, and anomaly detection in manufacturing. The partnership also involves a chatbot to assist Stellantis employees in purchasing company vehicles, optimized for handling queries in multiple languages.

This strategic collaboration is part of Stellantis' broader effort to leverage AI for improving operational efficiency and enhancing customer experiences. By integrating AI into its operations, Stellantis aims to streamline development processes and improve decision-making speed, positioning the company for future advancements in the automotive sector.
