Crédit Agricole Partners With Mistral AI on Banking Agents
Crédit Agricole signed a partnership with Mistral AI to deploy AI across its banking operations, according to MarketScreener. The agreement covers a conversational assistant for retail banking customers, the agentic transformation of key processes, and cybersecurity, which the companies describe as a major focus.
Crédit Agricole Artificial Intelligence, a new unit that pools the group's AI technology, will adapt large language models to its data and banking uses. It plans to use Mistral AI technology to improve model performance and reduce computing requirements.
The unit is also working with Prisme.AI to let employees create, use, and share AI agents. Crédit Agricole is deploying Sécur'IA, an internal platform that connects these agents to its information systems.
