Standigm and Protai Start AI Molecular Glue Research Program

Standigm and Protai have started a two year research program to build a platform for discovering selective molecular glue degraders.

In a press release, Standigm and Protai announced a two year research and development program focused on selective molecular glue degraders. The companies will build an integrated discovery platform that combines structural proteomics with generative AI.

Protai will use its structural proteomics platform to model glue induced ternary protein complexes. Standigm will use its STELLA-MGD platform to design and optimize selective small molecule degrader candidates.

The program will follow an iterative design, make, test, and analyze process with experimental validation. Funding comes from the Korea Israel Industrial R&D Foundation, the Republic of Korea's Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and the Israel Innovation Authority.
