XtalPi Launches Kodexia siRNA Discovery Platform

Oct 6, 2026
XtalPi launched Kodexia, a platform that combines generative AI, biological modeling, and automated experiments to design siRNA therapies. The platform supports six internal programs across several disease areas.

XtalPi announced in a press release the launch of Kodexia, a siRNA discovery platform combining generative AI, first principles biological modeling, and automated experiments. The platform covers sequence design, chemical modification, experimental validation, delivery design, and intellectual property analysis.

Kodexia connects computational models with automated laboratories that conduct more than 500 in vitro and 30 in vivo experiments each week. XtalPi said internal tests showed nearly three times greater design efficiency than conventional processes, while more than 50% of first round designs across several programs produced stronger in vivo activity than positive controls.

The lead program targets immunoglobulin A nephropathy and produced nonhuman primate efficacy data within seven months. XtalPi said it showed greater activity and durability than a clinical stage reference molecule targeting the same target.

Kodexia currently supports six internal programs covering metabolic, renal, respiratory, and central nervous system diseases. The platform also designs dual target siRNA molecules and delivery systems using antibody, peptide, and small molecule conjugates for tissues including the kidney, spleen, and adipose tissue.
