S&P Global Energy Expands AI Agent Suite with HorizonsAgents
S&P Global Energy has introduced a new suite of AI powered agents called HorizonsAgents, announced in a press release. The tools are designed to help banks, investors, project developers, and corporates process complex energy and sustainability data into decision ready insights with faster turnaround and improved consistency.
The HorizonsAgents suite includes four agents focused on project finance and investment workflows. The Transition Finance Agent benchmarks corporate decarbonization plans and supports sustainable financing. The Data Center Intelligence Agent evaluates energy and infrastructure risks for data center projects. The Sustainability Benchmarking Agent enables peer comparisons across sustainability metrics, while the Net Zero Investment Agent assists investors in assessing climate resilience in their portfolios.
According to the company, the agents integrate proprietary S&P Global Energy Horizons datasets to produce comparable outputs within minutes, supporting faster project origination and improved internal alignment. The solutions are built to enhance regulated workflows and align with international sustainability frameworks such as those from the International Sustainability Standards Board.
This launch follows the beta release of the Transition Finance Agent in November 2025 and expands S&P Global Energy's capabilities in AI driven analysis for the energy and finance sectors.
