Vertafore Unveils Velocity AI Platform and Agents for Insurance Workflows
Vertafore introduced its Velocity AI Platform and a suite of six AI agents to enhance automation and efficiency across insurance workflows, announced in a press release. The new platform integrates AI directly into the company’s core systems for agencies, MGAs, and carriers, enabling faster development and deployment of intelligent tools.
The Velocity AI Platform serves as the foundation for Vertafore’s new agents, each designed to streamline specific insurance processes. The Insurance Expert Agent provides quick, explainable answers within ReferenceConnect AI, while the Portal Launcher Agent enables MGAs to convert PDF applications into digital submission experiences in Surefyre. The Submission Processing Agent automates data extraction from emails and documents, reducing submission processing time from one hour to about two minutes.
Other agents include the Reconciliation Agent, which automates carrier statement matching in AMS360; the Email Agent, which processes incoming emails and triggers actions within AMS360; and the Benefit Plan Agent, which cuts benefit plan setup time in BenefitPoint to under five minutes. General availability for most agents is expected by summer 2026.
According to Vertafore, these AI-driven tools are built to operate within existing workflows, helping insurance organizations accelerate operations and improve accuracy across distribution, underwriting, and accounting processes.
