Infor Expands Industry AI Platform and Agent Governance

Infor expanded its Industry AI architecture with additional industry specific agents, adaptive interfaces, orchestration tools and governance controls.

Infor expanded its Industry AI architecture and Velocity Suite with more industry specific agents, adaptive interfaces and governance controls, the company announced in a press release. The package combines AI agents, process mining, automation, orchestration and generative AI tools.

The architecture uses Infor IQ, a semantic layer that gives agents a shared understanding of business data and processes. It can connect with applications and orchestration tools from other vendors, while a governance layer provides human approval workflows, permissions, explainable logic and audit logs. The GenAI Knowledge Hub, which lets customers build custom agents, is now generally available.

Infor also released the second edition of its Enterprise AI Adoption Impact Index, a survey of more than 2,000 business decision makers across seven markets. It found that 68% of respondents said off the shelf AI does not adequately address their industrys needs, rising to 73% among manufacturers and 76% in distribution. The survey also found that 54% of leaders were comfortable with autonomous agents fully executing critical business processes without human input at every step, while 15% said no one person has primary responsibility for AI errors.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
