Motive Introduces AI Agents for Fleet Management
Motive introduced Agents, autonomous AI agents that can detect and address fleet issues without constant human supervision, according to SiliconANGLE. The agents use data from Motive's fleet management platform to handle tasks involving safety, maintenance, compliance and fuel use.
An agent can detect signs of driver fatigue, contact the driver through the Atlas assistant and direct them to a nearby place to rest. Other agents can warn drivers about severe weather, create maintenance work orders, mark vehicles as out of service and prompt drivers to stop unnecessary engine idling.
Existing customers can deploy Agents through guided workflows and ready to use templates. Motive plans to add a feature in early 2027 that will let customers create agents by describing a task.
