CGI Expands IT Partnership with Stockmann to Advance Digital Development
CGI and Stockmann have expanded their collaboration through a new strategic agreement that strengthens CGI’s role as a key partner, . The partnership covers managed IT services and digital development aimed at improving customer experience, omnichannel capabilities, and profitability.
The renewed agreement builds on a long-running relationship in which CGI has provided cloud transformation, data center services, and IT infrastructure management for Stockmann. The expanded scope includes application management, development, and end user services, incorporating technologies such as artificial intelligence.
CGI will support Stockmann in accelerating digital service development by applying automation and AI solutions. The company’s DigiOps framework will be used to identify and resolve service disruptions proactively. According to Stockmann’s Chief Operating Officer Riku Lyly, the collaboration focuses on maintaining reliable IT operations and efficient digital development to achieve a seamless customer experience.
CGI’s Vice President for Retail Services, Peter Jantunen, stated that the partnership highlights CGI’s capacity to deliver business critical IT services in the retail sector. Stockmann’s Chief Technology Officer Janne Holli added that the agreement aligns with the company’s strategy to advance digitalization and automation using modern technologies.
