Red Sky Health Launches AI Platform Daniel for Healthcare Claims Recovery
Red Sky Health has launched a new AI platform named Daniel, aimed at assisting healthcare providers in recovering lost revenue from denied insurance claims. Announced in a press release, Daniel leverages advanced machine learning and generative AI algorithms to analyze historical claims data, identify errors, and streamline the resubmission process.
The platform automates the analysis of denied claims by identifying the reasons for rejection and correcting them in real time. Once the errors are fixed, Daniel automatically resubmits the claims to the insurance company, helping providers recapture previously denied funds. This solution addresses a significant issue in the U.S. healthcare system, where denied claims result in an estimated $262 billion in lost revenue annually.
Daniel's capabilities extend beyond revenue recovery, as it also aids in improving population health initiatives. By analyzing claims data, the platform can recommend specific reimbursable procedures based on a patient's diagnosis and covered benefits, as well as identify patients with unmet conditions.
