Reality Defender and Law & Forensics have announced a partnership to integrate deepfake detection tools into legal workflows, helping attorneys verify the authenticity of digital evidence and communications.

New York–based Reality Defender and Washington-based Law & Forensics have announced a strategic partnership to protect the legal sector from AI-generated fraud, according to a press release.

The collaboration integrates Reality Defender’s real-time deepfake detection tools, including its RealScan web application and RealAPI, directly into legal workflows. This allows attorneys to verify the authenticity of client communications, witness testimony, and digital evidence.

Law & Forensics brings its expertise in digital forensics and cybersecurity to ensure that the integrated system meets evidentiary standards. The joint solution is designed to help legal professionals address the growing challenge of synthetic media in court proceedings, depositions, and negotiations.

The partnership is available for law firms and legal organizations seeking to adopt forensic-grade AI verification for their operations through Reality Defender’s website.
