Rad AI Introduces Next-Generation Speech Recognition for Radiology Reporting
Radiology AI company Rad AI has launched a next-generation speech recognition technology integrated into its Rad AI Reporting platform, announced in a press release. The system aims to enhance diagnostic reporting by combining multiple AI speech engines with advanced contextual understanding.
The new model uses a proprietary multi-model architecture with a real-time “voting” algorithm that compares multiple transcriptions to produce the most accurate result. It also includes adaptive language models trained specifically for radiology terminology, improving recognition across diverse accents and acoustic conditions.
Rad AI’s reporting engine integrates workflow analytics to identify redundant dictation and streamline report templates. Early evaluations showed reduced dictation errors and faster report completion among radiologists using the system.
The company will demonstrate the technology at the RSNA 2025 Annual Meeting in Chicago, showcasing its integration of AI-driven speech recognition and workflow intelligence within clinical reporting environments.
