Movemedical Introduces Ask Move AI Assistant for Medical Device Field Operations

July 09, 2026
Movemedical has launched Ask Move AI, a mobile AI assistant designed to help medical device field representatives manage surgical case workflows using conversational interfaces on mobile devices.

Movemedical announced in a press release the release of Ask Move AI, a mobile assistant built to support medical device field representatives in managing surgical case workflows. The feature is part of the company's June 2026 platform update and introduces an AI interface based on more than fifteen years of surgical case data.

Ask Move AI provides four main functions: creating cases by text or voice, checking inventory, rescheduling cases, and looking up invoices. These functions are designed to give field representatives a conversational interface for their daily tasks, reducing manual operations. The system runs on Movemedical’s existing validated and compliance-certified platform, ensuring that all AI interactions are logged, audited, and authenticated. Customer data is not used to train the AI models.

The new assistant is the first release in Movemedical’s agentic roadmap that will extend across the full field inventory lifecycle. Upcoming additions include automated reconciliation, plain-language data insights, and expanded management tools. Future updates will target forecasting, consignment optimization, and inventory balancing as part of the regular platform release cadence. Movemedical customers can enable these AI features on their preferred timeline.
