Procurement Sciences Acquires HigherGov to Expand AI Government Contracting Platform

May 21, 2026
Procurement Sciences, developer of Awarded AI, has acquired HigherGov to combine AI workflow automation with extensive government contracting data. The unified system will serve over 3,000 contractors and integrate HigherGov intelligence into Awarded AI workflows.

Procurement Sciences, the company behind Awarded AI, announced in a press release the acquisition of HigherGov, an AI powered market intelligence platform used in government contracting. The combined system now serves more than 3,000 contractors, including nearly half of the industry's top 100, and has contributed to over 100 billion dollars in AI assisted awarded contracts.

The acquisition connects Awarded AI's agentic platform with HigherGov's data covering federal, state, local, and grant markets. HigherGov will continue to operate as a standalone product, while integration with Awarded AI will begin in the coming weeks. This will allow users to pull live HigherGov market intelligence directly into capture, proposal, and pricing workflows.

Awarded AI provides tools for opportunity qualification, capture strategy, proposal drafting, compliance, and pricing in a FedRAMP Moderate Authorized and SOC 2 Type 2 certified environment. HigherGov brings data on bids, recompetes, grants, contract vehicles, and competitor analysis. Together, the platforms form a unified system for opportunity discovery through proposal submission in government contracting.
