MulticoreWare Acquires Simulus Automation for Semiconductor Design

MulticoreWare has acquired Simulus Automation to add semiconductor design and verification capabilities for SoCs, chipsets, and accelerator technologies.
MulticoreWare has acquired Simulus Automation, a semiconductor design and verification specialist, the company announced in a press release.
The acquisition brings hardware design and verification into MulticoreWare. Simulus Automation serves customers developing SoCs, chipsets, and accelerator technologies.
MulticoreWare said the deal adds capabilities in FPGA engineering, High Level Synthesis, RTL implementation, CXL, and PCIe design and verification. The company also said the combined team will support work on sensor fusion, Physical AI workloads, edge robotics, and cloud FPGA deployments.
Simulus Automation CEO Karthick Gopal said the company will combine its design verification work with MulticoreWare's semiconductor and AI capabilities. Financial terms were not disclosed.
