doubleAI Raises $200 Million for Maxwell Code Optimization Model

Oct 19, 2026
The Series A round values doubleAI at more than $1 billion and will fund additional computing capacity for its Maxwell model.

doubleAI raised $200 million in Series A funding, according to SiliconANGLE. The round was jointly led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from NVIDIA, Dell Technologies, and other investors.

The Tel Aviv company develops Maxwell, an AI model that improves software efficiency by modifying program binaries rather than source code. It can optimize applications while they are running and supports both graphics processors and central processors.

Maxwell sped up 55 percent of the algorithms in NVIDIA's cuGraph library by a factor of two or more. It also increased the performance of the pandas data science toolkit by a factor of 38 in a query benchmark and doubled the video generation speed of the LTX-2.5 world model.

doubleAI plans to sell Maxwell to enterprises seeking to reduce hardware use for AI workloads. The Wall Street Journal reported that doubleAI will use half of the round to buy 1,000 NVIDIA B300 Blackwell graphics processors.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
