MediSights Reports Study Using AI Agents for Myeloma Market Research

MediSights says its AI agents interviewed specialists about multiple myeloma treatment decisions and referral patterns. The company sells the technology the study tested and has not published its method.

MediSights said in a press release that it has completed a study using its own purpose built AI agents to gather market intelligence on multiple myeloma treatment. The company said the agents held adaptive interviews with specialists that typically ran 45 to 60 minutes, and that this compressed research timelines from months to days or weeks.

According to MediSights, the interviews surfaced insurance authorization as a major barrier to in vivo CAR-T therapies, along with a knowledge gap among community oncologists about how those therapies differ from allogeneic and off the shelf ex vivo products. The company also reported that specialists raised the elimination of manufacturing wait times and speed to treatment, and said in vivo therapies should be benchmarked against ex vivo measures including minimal residual disease negativity, depth of response and overall survival.

MediSights sells the agent technology the study tested, and it uses material gathered this way to build what it calls Digital Doctor Twins for life sciences teams. The release does not say how many specialists were interviewed and does not publish the study's method, so the findings cannot be checked independently.
