Keyfactor Plans to Acquire Cofide for AI Agent Identity Security

Keyfactor announced in a press release its intent to acquire Cofide, an identity platform based in the UK that secures software workloads and AI agents in cloud environments.

Keyfactor said the acquisition will extend its Trust Control Plane to workloads and AI agents. The company said security teams would use one system to manage and govern non human identities across an enterprise.

Cofide gives each workload and AI agent a verified identity that is unique, short lived, and tied to specific agent outcomes. The platform uses open standards to support workload identity and access management across multiple cloud platforms and environments.

Keyfactor said Cofide's team and technology will join the company immediately.
