Harvey Acquires Hexus to Expand Legal AI Capabilities
Harvey has acquired Hexus, a startup that develops tools for creating product demos, videos, and guides. The acquisition adds new technical expertise to Harvey’s engineering group as the company expands its AI capabilities for legal professionals.
Hexus founder Sakshi Pratap, who previously worked at major technology companies, will lead an engineering team at Harvey focused on building solutions for in-house legal departments. The San Francisco-based Hexus team has already joined Harvey, with additional engineers in India expected to integrate once Harvey establishes a Bangalore office.
The acquisition follows a period of rapid growth for Harvey, which now serves over 1,000 customers in 60 countries. The company recently reported significant increases in annual recurring revenue and continues to hire across multiple global offices, including San Francisco, New York, Toronto, and Bengaluru.
Hexus had previously raised $1.6 million from venture and angel investors. While the acquisition terms were not disclosed, both companies described the structure as emphasizing long-term team incentives.
