Litera and filerskeepers connect retention rules with records governance
Litera and filerskeepers announced a partnership that connects global data retention requirements with FileTrail records management workflows, according to a company press release. filerskeepers maintains a database of global retention laws that tells organizations what data to retain, for how long and under which legal basis.
FileTrail, Litera's records governance product, puts those retention schedules to work by automating retention and disposition workflows across physical and digital repositories.
Litera also released its Microsoft 365 SharePoint Connector for FileTrail. It extends FileTrail governance into SharePoint content alongside existing document management systems and physical records, with centralized audit trails and compliance reporting across repositories. Litera said firms increasingly create work product outside traditional document management systems.
