Cydelphi has launched from stealth with $3 million in seed funding led by Glasswing Ventures to advance its AI-native Digital Forensics and Incident Response platform, designed to accelerate ransomware recovery.

Cybersecurity startup Cydelphi has emerged from stealth with $3 million in seed funding to accelerate development of its AI-native Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) platform, announced in a press release. The round was led by Glasswing Ventures, with participation from Blu Ventures, Hyde Park Angels, and Merlin Group.

The platform uses agentic AI to automate forensic playbooks and incident recovery processes, aiming to reduce catastrophic breach recovery times from months to days. It combines automated preparation, AI-enabled playbooks, and an air-gapped resilience infrastructure to help enterprises restore operations quickly after ransomware or other major cyberattacks.

Cydelphi was founded by Ron Newman, Lee Patenaude, and Doron Kolton, who bring decades of experience in cybersecurity and digital forensics. The company plans to expand partnerships with managed security service providers (MSSPs) and DFIR firms across high-stakes industries such as healthcare, manufacturing, and financial services.

The seed funding will be used to advance product development and support go-to-market initiatives aimed at scaling adoption of the platform among enterprise and service provider customers.
