Neo Emerges From Stealth With $100 Million to Secure AI Agents in Enterprises
Neo has emerged from stealth with $100 million in funding to build security systems for AI agents operating across enterprises, announced in a press release. The funding was led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) and Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from Craft Ventures and Merlin Ventures.
The Boston-based company was founded by former SentinelOne executives Nick Warner, Shlomi Salem, and Eran Shirazi. Neo is designed to help security operations teams track and control AI-enabled and agentic software running inside enterprises. Its platform provides real time visibility, audit trails, and policy controls for AI agents, extensions, and traditional applications gaining autonomous functions.
Neo's platform includes several capabilities such as the Neoverse software inventory, which catalogs AI agents, AI-enabled tools, and Model Context Protocol servers. It also offers capability and risk intelligence, real time attribution, granular policy control, and enforcement mechanisms that can block risky or unauthorized actions directly within enterprise environments.
According to Gartner figures cited in the announcement, about 5 percent of enterprise applications included agentic features in 2025, a number projected to grow to 40 percent by the end of 2026. The company said its technology addresses the resulting security gap, as traditional systems were built for predictable software that lacks autonomous decision-making.
Neo plans to use the new funding to expand its engineering and go to market teams as enterprises accelerate adoption of AI tools and agents.
