Omen AI Acquires Aquatic Labs for $16 Million
Omen AI acquired Aquatic Labs for $16 million in cash and stock, the company said in a press release. The deal brings Aquatic Labs' team, intellectual property and sensor research into Omen AI's work on automated fluid monitoring and treatment for data center cooling systems.
Aquatic Labs founder Allan Adams will become Omen AI's chief science officer and lead its research and development. The acquired technology measures total alkalinity in cooling fluid continuously without adding chemicals for each test, complementing Omen AI's monitoring of elements and biological contaminants.
Omen AI expects to begin shipping products with the added monitoring capabilities by the end of 2026. The company plans to connect fluid analysis with equipment that adjusts coolant chemistry within approved limits and checks the results through continued monitoring.
