Nuclearn Launches Tool to Convert Plant Drawings for AI Queries
Nuclearn introduced Nuclearn Link for P&IDs, a tool that converts plant piping and instrumentation diagrams into connected models, the company said in a press release. Staff can query the drawings in plain language through AtomAssist, other AI assistants or internal agents.
The tool accepts PDFs, scanned images, MicroStation DGN files and zip archives. It identifies equipment, instruments, pipes and signal lines, then connects drawings through their off page connectors. Users can trace components across sheets, identify open ends and correct symbols that the system misreads.
Nuclearn Link is available now and is included for AtomAssist users. Nuclearn also offers it as a separate web app, API and MCP server. The service runs in Nuclearn's own data center and supports 10 CFR Part 810 export control requirements.
