Industrial Defender and Fortress Add AI Vulnerability Correlation for OT Security

August 17, 2026
Industrial Defender and Fortress Information Security have integrated OT asset intelligence with AI vulnerability correlation to help critical infrastructure teams map new vulnerabilities to affected assets.

Industrial Defender and Fortress Information Security announced in a press release an integration that combines OT asset intelligence with AI vulnerability correlation for critical infrastructure operators.

The integration connects Industrial Defender asset data, including firmware and software versions, configurations, patch levels, and operational risk context, with Fortress vulnerability correlation and remediation workflows through an open API. When a vulnerability is disclosed, the system maps it to affected assets and embedded components in specific firmware builds.

The companies said the integration prioritizes response using asset criticality, location, and connectivity, rather than relying only on generic severity scores. It also supports NERC CIP evidence across asset categorization, configuration, vulnerability, and supply chain risk assessment.

The integration is available now to joint customers of both companies.
