Converge ICT Enhances Network with Ribbon's AI-Enabled Technology

Converge ICT Solutions Inc. is set to enhance its nationwide fiber network using advanced data transmission technology from Ribbon Communications Inc., announced in a press release. This collaboration aims to strengthen Converge's network to meet the growing demand for high-speed, low-latency, and reliable connectivity.

Converge will leverage Ribbon's Muse Multilayer Automation Platform (MAP), which is designed to maximize the value of IP Optical network investments through comprehensive control, analysis, design, and planning applications. The platform's low-code automation and customization engines will enable Converge to optimize resources and maintain peak network performance.

The partnership will expand the initial integration of Ribbon's 5 nanometer (nm) - 140Gbaud transmission chipset, boosting Converge's network capacity to 1.2 Terabits per second (Tbps). This technology, initially deployed in North and Central Luzon, will now be implemented nationwide, enhancing Converge's data transmission capacity and operational efficiency.
