CodeAnt AI has raised $2 million in seed funding to advance its AI-driven code review platform, which aims to reduce manual code review time and bugs by over 50%. The funding round was led by Y Combinator, Uncorrelated Ventures, and VitalStage Ventures, with participation from several other investors. This marks the company's first institutional funding, valuing it at $20 million, announced in a press release.

The funds will be used to expand CodeAnt AI's engineering and business development teams and to scale the adoption of its platform, which is already in use at more than 50 companies, including Tata 1mg and Akasa Air. The platform integrates with GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, and Azure DevOps, providing real-time feedback across more than 30 programming languages. It offers one-click fixes for code quality and security issues, significantly speeding up the review process.

Founded by Amartya Jha and Chinmay Bharti in 2023, CodeAnt AI was created to address inefficiencies in code reviews. The platform's proprietary language-agnostic AST engine allows it to identify complex issues that other tools might miss, ensuring high-quality code production. For security-focused organizations, CodeAnt AI can operate entirely within their infrastructure, maintaining data privacy and compliance.
