Procode AI Launches with $4 Million and Acquires The Auctus Group
Procode AI has launched from stealth with $4 million in funding and the acquisition of The Auctus Group, announced in a press release. The company aims to bring AI-powered revenue cycle management (RCM) to private practice surgeons.
Founded in 2024 by Jeff Cripe, Dr. Kameron Rezzadeh, and James Baez-Silva, Procode AI’s technology suite includes the Coding Copilot, which translates operative reports into billing and diagnostic codes, reportedly enabling coders to work 90% faster. The platform also features the Auctus Provider App, offering real-time claims and financial data, and an AR/Denials Management Engine that automates payment and charge posting.
The acquisition of The Auctus Group, a major billing firm for plastic surgeons and dermatologists, expands Procode AI’s reach to more than 300 providers. The company reported adding $2 million in annual recurring revenue within five months following the acquisition.
