Checkbox Raises $23 Million Series A to Expand AI Legal Front Door Platform
Checkbox has raised $23 million in Series A funding led by Touring Capital, with participation from Peak XV, Conductive Ventures, Tidal Ventures, Five V Capital, and several angel investors, announced in a press release. The funding will support the expansion of Checkbox’s AI Legal Front Door platform, designed to streamline legal intake and automate workflows for enterprise legal teams.
The platform enables business users to submit legal requests directly through tools such as email, Slack, Teams, and Salesforce. Checkbox’s AI agents then convert these interactions into automated workflows for tasks like contract drafting and conflict approvals, routing more complex matters to legal teams for direct management.
Checkbox’s system is already used by more than 100 enterprise organizations, including SAP, PepsiCo, and several Fortune 500 companies. The company plans to use the new funding to expand its AI capabilities, deepen integrations across enterprise systems, and scale adoption of the Legal Front Door platform as a standard for in-house legal operations.
