Ceva NPU Enters Production in Mobilint REGULUS Chip

Nov 2, 2026
Mobilint has integrated Ceva's NeuPro-Nano NPU and SensPro AI DSP into its REGULUS edge AI chip, which delivers 10 TOPS of AI performance while consuming under 3W.

Ceva, Inc. and Mobilint announced in a press release that Mobilint's REGULUS chip is the first production deployment of Ceva's NeuPro NPU family. REGULUS combines the NeuPro-Nano NPN32 NPU with the SensPro AI DSP, delivering 10 TOPS of AI performance at under 3W and supporting up to 8GB of memory.

SensPro handles sensing and signal processing workloads, while NeuPro-Nano processes always on neural inference. The chip is designed for robotics, drones, machine vision, smart cameras and connected devices with limited power and space.

REGULUS also powers Mobilint's MLD-R1 AI USB accelerator, which is now shipping after a preview at COMPUTEX 2026. The accelerator supports computer vision, video analytics and generative AI workloads, along with frameworks including PyTorch, ONNX, Hugging Face, TensorFlow, TFLite and Keras.
