LG CNS secured tenants for all capacity at its Jakarta AI data center before completion. The 30 MW facility can accommodate more than 100,000 servers.

LG CNS secured lease agreements for all capacity at its Jakarta AI data center before completion, according to The Elec. The company said during its October 30 earnings call that the facility was scheduled for completion in early November.

The first phase has 11 floors, covers 46,281 square meters, and has 30 MW of power capacity. It can accommodate more than 100,000 servers. Project owner KMG, a joint venture of Indonesia's Sinar Mas Group and Korea Investment Real Asset Management, plans to expand total power intake capacity to 220 MW.

LG CNS also plans to pursue modular data center projects in North America and Europe that can support Nvidia's Vera Rubin platform. The company will invest gradually in GPU services after assessing demand and commercial viability.

Its board previously approved an investment of 381.4 billion won in GPUs and infrastructure equipment, with the equipment acquisition scheduled for June 30, 2027. AI and cloud revenue reached 961.5 billion won in the third quarter, representing 57.8% of total revenue.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
