Xsight Labs Introduces 25 Watt E1L DPU for Edge Systems

Oct 8, 2026
Xsight Labs introduces the E1L, a programmable data processing unit that supports up to 200 Gbps networking with configurable power from 25 to 40 watts.

Xsight Labs announced the E1L in a press release, adding a lower power option to its E Series data processing unit portfolio. The programmable DPU supports up to 200 Gbps networking, with configurable thermal design power from 25 to 40 watts and typical power use from 15 to 25 watts.

The E1L uses 8, 16 or 22 Arm Neoverse N2 cores and is built with the TSMC N5 process. It includes up to two DDR5 5200 memory interfaces, 20 PCIe Gen5 lanes and AES GCM encryption for IPsec processing.

The chip runs standard Linux distributions and supports XDP, DPDK and SPDK. Xsight Labs will offer it as a discrete device, a COM Express module and a 1RU server, using the same software stack as its 800G E1 DPU. Sampling will begin in the second quarter of 2027.
