Adtalem and Google Cloud Launch AI Credentials Program for Healthcare Professionals
Adtalem Global Education Inc. has announced a partnership with Google Cloud to launch a new AI credentials program designed for healthcare professionals. The initiative will deliver curriculum powered by Google Cloud’s AI technology, providing students and clinicians with practical experience using tools that are transforming clinical practice.
The program will use Google Cloud’s full AI-optimized stack, including Gemini and Vertex AI services, to create a curriculum focused on real-world healthcare applications. Coursework will cover AI in clinical practice, patient safety, ethics, and hands-on training with healthcare-specific AI tools.
Launching in 2026, the program will be available across Adtalem Global Education’s institutions, including Chamberlain University, Walden University, and Ross University School of Medicine. It will serve more than 91,000 students and offer flexible continuing education options for working clinicians.
The collaboration combines Adtalem’s expertise in healthcare education with Google Cloud’s AI technology to prepare future and current healthcare professionals to use AI effectively and responsibly in clinical environments.
