Zipline Raises $1.5 Billion at $21.5 Billion Valuation
Zipline raised $1.5 billion at a $21.5 billion valuation, reports TechStartups. Paradigm, WCM Investment Management and Layer Global led the round, with participation from Uber, Tiger Global, J.P. Morgan, Fidelity, Valor Equity Partners, ARK Invest and Salesforce Ventures.
The financing follows a funding round of more than $600 million at a $7.6 billion valuation in January. Zipline plans to expand manufacturing capacity in the United States, hire more employees and grow its delivery network.
Walmart will add 300 Zipline delivery sites under a multiyear agreement. Customers at eligible locations can order groceries and other products through Walmart's app or website for delivery in as little as 30 minutes.
Zipline's drones remain about 330 feet above the ground and lower delivery pods on a tether. The company said it completed more than one million deliveries in the Dallas Fort Worth area during 2026.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
