Construction robotics funding reaches $1.6 billion in 2026

Nov 5, 2026
Construction robotics companies raised about $1.6 billion through October 29, with Bedrock Robotics, ICON and Gravis Robotics accounting for 83% of the total.

Construction robotics companies raised about $1.6 billion through October 29, more than four times the $389 million recorded in all of 2025, according to Crunchbase News. The total also surpassed the previous annual record of $506 million in 2021.

The increase came from larger rounds rather than a sharp rise in deal volume. The sector recorded 30 rounds through October 29, compared with 28 during all of 2025.

Bedrock Robotics raised $870 million across two rounds, including a $600 million Series C that valued the company at $4.1 billion. ICON raised $265 million during 2026, while Gravis Robotics secured $200 million. Together, the three companies accounted for about 83% of the sector's funding.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
