Corridian raises $38 million for autonomous underwater vehicles
Corridian raised $38 million in seed funding to develop ultra large autonomous underwater vehicles, according to citybiz. Point72 Ventures led the round, with participation from Balerion Space Ventures, Harpoon Ventures, DCVC, Marlinspike and other defense and technology investors.
The crewless vehicles will carry ISO standard container payloads across thousands of nautical miles. Planned uses include payload delivery, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and logistics in contested waters.
Mike Guay, Greg Barrow, Kyle Arace and Mark Bodnar founded Corridian in 2025 after working on undersea autonomy programs at General Dynamics. Programs led by the team entered service with the United States Navy, the Royal Australian Navy and other military partners.
