Finpilot raises $10 million for institutional investment AI agents
Finpilot raised $10 million in a Series A round led by Lobby Capital, according to GeekWire. Madrona also participated, bringing the Seattle startup's total funding to about $14.5 million.
Finpilot provides AI agents for institutional investment teams that allocate capital to outside fund managers. Its software extracts information from PDFs and spreadsheets, updates internal systems, prepares meeting briefings and flags items that need attention or approval.
The company has about 28 institutional customers, including Seattle Children's, the Wyoming Retirement System and investment firm TIFF. Finpilot uses an internal model to process financial documents and models from Anthropic, OpenAI and Google for other tasks. It plans to use the funding for product expansion and hiring.
