Brava Security Raises $15 Million to Find Gaps in Attack Detection
Brava Security raised a $15 million seed round led by Pitango and F2 Venture Capital, according to Tech Funding News. The startup also emerged from stealth and plans to use the funding to develop its technology and expand in North America.
Brava uses multiple AI agents to create simulated attack logs without carrying out attacks. Its system checks whether a customer's security tools would detect the simulated activity, then identifies missing data feeds and detection rules. It connects with Splunk, Google SecOps, CrowdStrike and more than 70 other sources and destinations.
The company was founded in 2024 by CEO Idan Basre, a former Microsoft Defender product management lead, and CTO Itay Gabbay. Brava has about 20 employees, with research and development in Israel and a commercial team in the United States.
