Oct 29, 2026
Foundry Robotics raised a $100 million Series A to build and operate robotic assembly factories. Its FoundryOS software coordinates robots, schedules and assembly processes across different products.

Foundry Robotics raised a $100 million Series A led by Marlinspike Partners, according to Tectonic. Khosla Ventures, Red Glass Ventures, SE Ventures, Wing VC and Axiom Ventures also participated.

The California company builds and operates robotic assembly factories for customers rather than selling robots or modifying existing plants. Its FoundryOS software coordinates robotic cells, production schedules and assembly processes, allowing factories to switch between products and adjust output.

Foundry Robotics operates a facility spanning 130,000 square feet and serves five paying customers. Its work includes robotic dogs, unmanned underwater vehicles, quadcopters and satellite subsystems. Shipbuilder HII uses the company to support production of smaller unmanned systems.
