WilsonAI Secures $1.7M to Develop AI Paralegal

WilsonAI has raised $1.7 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Nomad Ventures, as announced on their website. The funding will support the development of WilsonAI's AI paralegal, designed to assist in-house legal teams by automating routine tasks and streamlining workflows.
Founded by Gus Neate and Alex Wang, WilsonAI aims to integrate its AI paralegal into existing legal systems, enabling it to handle repetitive legal requests, provide instant answers, and automate workflows. This allows legal teams to focus on more complex and high-value activities.
The AI paralegal has already been deployed with 10 technology companies, demonstrating its capability to automate over 50% of routine legal queries and accelerate contract review processes by up to 70%. This efficiency translates to significant time savings for legal teams, allowing them to redirect 15-20 hours per week to strategic work.
With the new funding, WilsonAI plans to enhance its AI capabilities, expand integrations with existing legal tech stacks, and accelerate customer onboarding across various industries.
